Flesh of the Gods has added Elizabeth Olsen, Kristen Stewart, and Oscar Isaac to its cast. Deadline reports that the Golden Globe nominee is slated to work with director Panos Cosmatos on the vampire thriller. If you’ve been enjoying this vampire Renaissance we’ve all been on, there’s more on the way.
Cosmatos is working with Se7en writer Andrew Kevin Walker. Flesh of the Gods is based on an original story by the director and his collaborator. Oscar Issac and Stewart are an 80s married couple. They live a life of excess until they cross paths with Olsen’s Nameless. She introduces them to even more hedonism and violence as a part of her cabal. The allure of the city is one thing. But, those two are quickly in over their head when it comes to a vampire.
Genre fans will be delighted to see Stewart back in a role alongside vampires. Isaac is the kind of smoldering choice that will help deliver social moments whenever visuals from Flesh of the Gods emerges. We don’t even need to mention the rabid social media following that Olsen has developed in recent years.

Anytime Elizabeth Olsen comes up, questions about Marvel Studios are quick to follow. With her detour over here into vampire territory, there are still people wondering if they’ll see her back as the Scarlet Witch. Late last year, Omelete spoke to Kevin Feige about the prospect of a Wanda Maximoff return. The executive couldn’t give anything away. But, it seems like that door is pretty wide open for the future!
“We just had Agatha All Along on Disney+, and that series was great for us,” Feige began. “Since then, there have been a lot of questions about Wanda on the minds of fans. So, I can only say that we are excited to find out when and how Scarlet Witch might return.”
